Royal Lytham St. Annes Golf Club has long been considered as one
of the premier links courses and as well as hosting the Open Championships,
has staged the Ryder Cup, the Curtis Cup, Amateur Championships
and the British Senior Open.
The three other Lytham courses at Fairhaven, Lytham Green Drive
and St. Annes Old Links are quality courses for the serious golfer
whilst in the surrounding area Herons Reach, Blackpool North Shore,
Fleetwood and Knott End golf clubs are within easy reach of Lytham
and offer good golf in attractive surroundings.
The Wirral has 14 golf courses of which Royal Liverpool Golf Club
at Hoylake is one of the great links courses of England. Having
already hosted The Open Championship ten times, it will once again
